    AI-First Work IDE

    Status: In Progress

i’m developing a system that allows me to do 80% of my work inside a single tool: Visual Studio Code. Yes, the same development environment that programmers use, but remixed for knowledge work, project management, and AI-powered productivity.

The system uses VS Code with a modified PARA folder structure (Projects, Areas, Resources, Archives, plus my own “Agents” folder) where everything lives in Markdown files.

The real magic happens with what I call “no-code AI agents”—specialized prompts saved as Markdown files that act like reusable team members.

See a full walkthrough here: https://artkitect.substack.com/p/watch-how-i-track-projects-manage

    Key Highlights

    Core System Components:

    • PARA+ Method: Projects, Areas, Resources, Archives + custom “Agents” folder
    • Markdown Files: Everything stored as .md files that AI can read and edit like code
    • VS Code Copilot: Built-in AI chat with multiple models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
    • Agent Mode: AI thinks through problems step-by-step, then executes

    Desired Outcomes

    • Eliminate context switching between 10+ different tools
    • Create reusable AI “team members” without coding
    • Make all AI interactions contextually aware of your work
    • Scale creative capabilities through intelligent automation

    The Future of Work

I believe this represents the future of work—maybe not in this exact form factor, but in this integration of documents, AI, and chat into a unified workspace. We’re moving toward environments where:

    • Your work context travels with you
    • AI agents become specialized team members
    • Knowledge compounds automatically
    • Creative and analytical work merge seamlessly

    Status: Completed

A Google Sheets tool where anyone can create custom bulk ChatGPT.

    Get the tool here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K3CZPqdBhxTz2AGEmcbWCFjj0czSu3Xd2eZrN77NZJY/edit?usp=sharing

Here are some ways I’ve used this tool:

    • Bulk meta tag generation
    • Bulk FAQ text cleanup (100,000 rows!)
    • Bulk generation of HTML for “jump links” for on page headings
    • Bulk content idea generation for social and email

    Some other use cases:

    • Ad Copy: Generate multiple variations of ad copy for A/B testing in marketing campaigns.
    • Sentiment Analysis: Analyze customer reviews or feedback and categorize them into positive, negative, or neutral sentiments.
    • Review Summarization: Summarize large volumes of customer reviews to identify common themes and issues.
    • Job Descriptions: Generate detailed job descriptions for various roles based on job titles and requirements.
    • Bulk product descriptions: Generate detailed descriptions of product features and benefits
